IGR Championships

From modest beginnings, Plymouth Dolphins have enjoyed enviable success.

  • Despite only being in our second season, Plymouth Dolphins RFC were undefeated as the Southern Merit League and IGR National Merit League champions in 2024

  • In our first IGR season 2022/2023 we were Plate Winners of the Southern Merit League. Plymouth Dolphins are proud to have won every game since as well as retaining the Plate.

  • On Saturday the the 13th April 2024 we became the National IGR UK Merit League Champions.

  • We also very proud made it to our league finals in the 2024 International IGR Bingham Cup in Rome.

The Dumnonii Cup

This local derby cup was created in 2024, and is named after a Celtic tribe that lived in Devon/Cornwall from the Iron Age up the Saxon period.

The cup is contested every time Plymouth Dolphins play Westcountry Wasps RFC, and since its inception the Plymouth Dolphins have won and retained this cup.

Honda Volunteer of the Year 2024

We have a number of committee members who have been nominated for the Honda Volunteer of the Year Awards 2024.

These aim to recognise and celebrate volunteers who have made a substantial contribution to their club and the wider community over the past 12 months.
